Christian Siriano for Payless

I broke my promise to myself that I would stop spending *big sigh*

A couple days ago, I dropped by my local Payless Shoesource and this is what came home with me.

For a while I knew H&M had been partnering up with designers and featuring their work in their line of products. For some reason, I thought this was a H&M thing haha (silly me), but it seems that Christian Siriano had collaborated with Payless in the recent months. 

And to reveal the goodness inside this box?

Featuring 4" cone heels (thank goodness for the platform ^-^"), a jersey lining (more like faux suede), and a grosgrain knot trim, [oh] and that beautiful gold detailing engraved with the words Christian Siriano equals the perfect pair of black pumps :D

I find nice black pumps to be too high for me to wear, and lower black pumps just look... well, OL (office lady) lol. I think this pair has the best of both worlds - office appropriate/professional looking without giving up style.

Why did I make an(other) impulsive buy? 

1. These were originally $49.99, but with their winter sale these were up for $35.99.
2. Having examined the shoes from every possible angle, I found the slightest bit of glue sticking out where the platform meets the shoe (virtually invisible) and the manager offered me a 10% discount because they didn't have another pair in stock.
3. On top of that, I whipped out my awesome SPC (student discount card) and got another 10% off.

= $32.03 ($21.65 in savings)
